Pulse Survey Process
The Pulse is designed to measure how you've been growing as a leader in the 2 Leadership Growth Areas that you have selected at the beginning of the coaching process. In session 6 your coach will walk you through the Pulse survey process as well as the importance of this measurement in your leadership growth journey.
Pre-launch
Upon the completion of sessions 6 and 9, the Coaching Platform will send an email to both you and your coach, which contains the following:
Pulse schedule (launch date, reminder dates, closing date).
Invitation email template that you should send immediately to your coworkers informing them that they will be receiving their survey link in 5 business days.
Should any coworker decide not to participate or if a coworker is unavailable, you have the option to 'deactivate' this coworker directly on the Coaching Platform up until the launch date. You can deactivate a coworker on the Coworkers page of your dashboard. Click here to see how you can deactivate coworkers.
Once the survey launches, coworker will not be able to opt-out.

Launch
Upon launch, the Coaching Platform will send email notifications to:
Leader: Pulse survey link
Coworkers: Pulse survey link
Your coach will also receive a link to the Coaching Platform where they will have real-time visibility into the status of the data collection.
Data collection - timeline
The Coaching Platform makes reminders simple. Reminder emails are automatically sent to you and your coworkers in intervals as follows:
1st reminder: 3 business days after launch;
2nd reminder: 6 business days after launch;
3rd reminder: 9 business days after launch;
Closing date: 11 business days after launch;
Before the survey closes
The Coaching Platform will send an email 24 hours before the scheduled closing date to your coach, giving them the opportunity to determine whether or not to extend the closing date. The coach can extend the closing date once (with 5 additional business days).
The Coaching Platform automatically allocates coworker into breakout groups for the Pulse based on their initial coworker grouping.
'Manager' breakout group for the Pulse (no minimum number of responses required)
Manager
'Coworkers' breakout group for the Pulse (minimum of 3 responses required)
Peer, Direct Report, and Other
To ensure the anonymity of responses, there must be a minimum of 3 responses collected for the ‘Coworkers’ breakout group.
For example, if there is 1 response collected from the Manager breakout group and 2 responses from the Coworkers breakout group, the coach will be required to move the Manager into the Coworkers breakout group. All 3 responses will be aggregated into the Coworkers breakout group.
To ensure the anonymity of responses, please note that the report will only be visible to you if there are at least 3 responses in total.
Close
The Pulse survey closes 11 business days after the initial launch date. The Coaching Platform will send you and the coach an email that the data collection has concluded. You will have access to the Pulse report on your dashboard after sessions 7 and 10 (the Pulse debrief sessions).
